IMF spokesman said the global economic recovery remains fragile

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Thursday said the global economy is recovering and still very fragile, but there is not much likelihood of recession-type double-dip.

IMF spokesman Caroline Atkinson at a routine press briefing said that the problem still lays in the sustainability of the recovery, the current economic recovery is moves by multi-country Soviet government and the central bank's policy.

She said, "We see some economic recovery signs of the Europe and the United States. We believe that the output for the economy has started to recover. However, it will take some time if the economic recovery translated into employment growth."

Atkinson also said that "recovery is still weak. The ideal situation is that the recovery will continue, and will not be a double-dip recession. Decision-makers act with caution is essential."
