Humanity has completed a number of major adventure activities, such as the Apollo moon landing, to reach Antarctica and climbed Mount Everest and so on. They changed the human’s world outlook, but the human still have many areas and spheres has not yet arrived now, "Time" magazine made an inventory for the top ten adventures that the human is planning to complete.

1. Launch a manned spacecraft to Mars

Launch a manned spacecraft to Mars could become the greatest adventure in the 21st century and which can realize the dream of mankind for centuries. This not only a tremendous encouragement to the United States Aeronautics and Space Administration, but also a promotion to the development in space projects for other countries. Exploration of Mars will reveal the lifeway of some microorganism, and this achievement will be one of the greatest scientific discoveries. But there are still some problems in launching a manned spacecraft for Mars exploration. Mariana Trench is the deepest ocean in the world which can swallow the entire Mount Everest. In 1960, the U.S. Navy Captain Walsh and Picard had reached the bottom of the Mariana Trench by deep-sea diving instrument (35.84 thousand feet away from the sea level). Explore the seabed is not just out of curiosity, we can find the survived unknown creatures in the high-pressure and dark environment, which can also help the human get new ideas of plate tectonics and seismic activity.

3. Contact the aliens

Humanity has been working through to find the aliens by searching and analyzing the signal in space. Conducted by the University of California, "Search aliens" (SETI) project is only one part of these activities. Beginning in 1999, more than five million people to join SETI @ Home project which started by scientists. International Academy of Astronautics has been set up the Standing Committee who told the political leaders about the action to be taken when discovered the extraterrestrial signals.
